It all started in 2004-2005 when I took a course in college about Travel and Tourism. Growing up in Miami I was use to being in a melting pot of cultures and diversity but this course I took fascinated with the many different places I can travel and explore. It left such a huge imprint on my mind and soul that I change my major from Journalism to Hospitality Management. I wanted to help everyone plan vacations, travel, give my opinion and pretty much anything that can help making your vacation a little bit more memorable. While in college I worked at a photo lab and as I developed clients photos I would ask where did you travel to and immerse myself in their stories. I wanted stories too, I wanted to travel the world! Slowly, traveling became my passion. I saved up every penny I could and was on every budget travel website, day dreaming of where I could go and when. I would figure out the whom with later was my thought…lol. After about 6 years of traveling and my passion for exploration growing day by day I decided to start The Traveling Anchor Platform. This Platform is designed to share my experiences with you, find you great deals in not just Travel but also fashion which is another passion mine. My overall goal is to inspire you to Travel, have fun and live life!
